Can't believe the serialized novel promoted as having sex scenes has sex scenes. I always pictured the other person in the dreams as Lord Vane, so the final line caught me off guard.
That final line! Wow! Not what I expected at all. I love that this entire chapter is nothing but the journal entry - makes it really punchy, especially combined with that shocking last line. I'm really enjoying the irony of Victor thinking that Lord Vane is part himself and part demon, when Victor is the one dreaming of himself as his own demonic tormentor. Amazing as ever!
Holy crap (pun intended, perhaps). Victor is VERY relatable. I love how you convey the abstractness of the confrontation in his dreams, yet pair it with vivid and realistic imagery of pleasure. It's incredibly well-done! All of this is! Truly!
"A dazzling panoply of sin" what a great line!!
😳😳😳
Interesting saucy dreams ! Definitely more introspective than most ! But I guess being extremely repressed would do that to someone

lol in spite of everything, I do think this chapter came as a bit of a surprise to some people
